I gotta say, I love our new management team. Absolutely perfect time to bring him up and get him some experience. Just like Pateryn, no pressure. Get his feet wet and see what he can do!

TinordiandSubban the legend begins!

Although it might be better to play him with Gorges for now

He'll probably play with Bouillon and get similar minutes to what Pateryn got. They want to get a look at him with Diaz out. I expect he'll get 3-5 games.

Why was Pateryn called up at first place ? Because Dogs need help from Tinordi, St-Denis and Beaulieu ? It's clear that those three players are better than Pateryn, no ?

Apparently Pateryn's been our most steady defenceman in Hamilton this year. Beaulieu & Tinordi are still rookies and I think St-Denis also would have had to clear waivers.

Anyway it looks like management is trying to give our young guys some experience.

Pateryn has been the most solid dman for the dogs since coming back from his injury imo

No more re-entry waivers with the new DBA.

St-Denis would only have had to clear waivers if and when he was to be sent down again after his stint here.

Management did an exceptional job this year testing what they have in the system. They brought in Pateryn for a few games and he did alright. They want to test out Tinordi right now. Wouldn't be surprised to see Beaulieu in the near future as well.

Because Pateryn's been solid as well. Montreal still needs a big, physical, crease clearing D-man. MB see's an opportunity (with Diaz out) before the trade deadline to assess what he has in the system before he has to make a deal. We have a solid grip on a playoff spot, may as well give the Bulldogs an audition.

How many games can a kid like Tinordi play before we burn an ELC contract year?

Pretty clear what is happening here.

Before going out and getting a veteran big D before the deadline, they decided to audition the kids.

skule, this is his first year of his ELC regardless of what happens.

Great move by MB. Nice to see the kids be given a chance especially with Diaz out. It's an opportunity to see where the prospects are in their development. I liked Pateryn and think he'll be an NHL player eventually but he still has some work to do.
