I guess, the plan here is to get even more small and soff. Plus he can also fight. Nope. Don't need him on the team.

I like Tinordi a lot, but other than the first game against Toronto, how did he help the team get tougher?

mmmmm, as much as i understand he needs to play big minutes in the AHL, I disagree with the timing of this is plain bad. San Jose and Anaheim do play a fast game, but our defense is just soffffff as **** without Tinordi. They should have waited for Murray to come back to send Jared down.

Nothing wrong with that. A defenseman always takes longer to develop. Its part of the process

Not really a problem, he had a great preseason and deserved a cup of coffee in the NHL. Didn't really impress at the NHL level so far this year, and that's fine. The NHL game is too fast for him right now, I'm not concerned because the tools and hockey sense seem to be there, he just needs more time to adjust to the speed. Probably better to have him play all situations in Hamilton than 14 minutes with Bouillion.

Greg Pateryn est en route vers Montréal. Le Canadien devrait confirmer son rappel de Hamilton un peu plus tard aujourd'hui.

From Reneau Lavoie, saying Greg Pateryn is on route to MTL, he should be called up today.

Good move. Tinordi simply wasn't ready yet.

And people were already saying he was superior to prime Komisarek after a few good pre-season games...

Great decision.

For those implying the Habs will make him lose his confidence... well it's the opposite. Tinordi isn't playing with confidence right now and the best way to help him get it back is to send him to Hamilton instead of playing a marginal role on an injured team that is very likely to struggle for the next 4 weeks.

As for the physical aspect, Tinordi is just not that player right now anyway. He as 0 hit in his last 2 games.

Crazy reactions in 3....2....1....

didnt take too long

the tinordi we saw in the regular season is far, far away from the tinordi we saw in the pre-season. he's still very young so whatever, send him to hamilton where he can go against good competition and log tons of minutes. he's basically useless here right now, not physical, average defensively, blergh offensively. guy needs more time in the AHl.

BIG ****ING DEAL

Good. ****ing good.

Lets shatter the confidence of yet another player.

take a deep breath...

Glad to see this he has reminded me of the Tinordi from his OHL days LOST on the ice.

Yes, because clearly all of his OHL days, he was lost. :shakehead

The first year, he was not dominating, but the second one, he was just beast.

Well, to be fair, everytime Tinordi hit someone, he'd get a penalty for interference.. and none of his interference penalties were legitimate penalties.

Connor McKenna made an interesting point on twitter today. Tinordi hasn't been the same since Therrien called him out after a preseason game for going for a big hit that led to a goal against.

Calling out a rookie in front of the media for doing exactly what he is supposed to do doesn't seem very logical. Therrien has to stop criticizing his players in front of the media.

What's funny is that when he placed Briere on the 4th line, he repeated multiple times that day that things change very quickly. Instead of simply saying that he's looking for more intensity from him.

Favoritism and publicly putting your players down is a very efficient way to... lose your locker room.

Thank you. Saves me typing the same thing.

Getting run over by the Sharks wouldn't build that much confidence.

Pretty sure MT never called Tinordi for that. Pateryn was the one to blame on that goal. He had the puck after Tinordi's hit and he lost it for no reason.

Let's not forget that while being a physical team (not that much imo but still..), Anaheim might just be the fastest team in the whole NHL, great timing for Tinordi to go play back to back in the A.

Watched the dogs vs marlies and most impressive d men were pateryn nygren and obv beaulieu

Love the move, he needs to get back playing his own brand of hockey and not that scared to make a mistake nonsense..

Glad to hear it. I thought he fared well last year and he's more of what we need. Here's the point where we get to find out how good our depth is.

I'm happy to see the Habs rotating their defense prospects through the lineup. All of them get to learn what it takes to play at the NHL level and at the same time, management gets to evaluate their abilities. It bodes well for the future.

This management philosophy revolves around shattering young kids.

****ing hate Bergevin and Therrien. It's ridiculous that they still have supporters.
PG is 10 times the hockey mind Bergevin is.
BG, before his last year trying to save his job was 10 times the hockey mind this twit is.

Maybe McGuire would've been better afterall.
