Time flies : Its almost 5 years already, since Las Vegas were awarded their first major pro team

That team became the Vegas Golden Knights.

5 years.....really didn't realize it was almost 5 years
- the actual negotiations, for the Vegas based major pro sports franchise
started already in November 2014, almost 6 ½ years ago
(the official press release from the NHL came month later
confirming the negotiations)

 

Honestly, I feel like they've been around forever despite it's been only three and a half years since they played their first game. They became a contender so quickly I tend to forget just four years ago they weren't even part of the league. Excited to see what Seattle is going to bring in.

 

I'm excited to see them come close to rivaling 5 playoff rounds won their first 3 years + win the division like most of HFboards says will happen.
