I don't know where to put this, so I'll post here.
We've all seen the Sidney commercial and I was at last nights Fog Devils vs Wildcats game. Which happened to coincide with the annual Timbits tourney. Over 1570 kids (7-8 year olds) participating from South Easten NB. Yadda , YADDA....... It was fun to watch all the kids in the parade and having fun at the game though.
Anybody know where all this started, the announcer claimed in Moncton 17 years ago. Clearly said 1st in Canada.
But I can't find anything on the 'net about Timbits hockey? Seems a strange claim? Although 17 or 18 years ago the local Tim's franchise owner was also one of the owners of the Moncton AHL Hawks?
