He only made the team because he was waiver eligible. Really didn't earn it in camp, or in the years leading up to it. Didn't really carve out a space for himself once he was here. What can you do.

Trading 2 players that wanted out of their former situations requesting trades and their heights would have made it a fair exchange.

Now we may lose Marchment and Timashov for Malgin essentially.

Pretty sure nobody wanted to trade for Timashov or we would have traded him.
