OLN REBRANDING: Comcast Programming President Jeff Shell said a renaming and rebranding of OLN is due this summer, and he intends to pursue more exclusive rights to major sports in an effort to grow the property. “There’s a place for tentpole programming, elements of exclusivity that we can build around.†Shell, however, was not overtly optimistic that build-up will include an acquisition of MLB rights, with a part of the league’s cable package currently up for bid. “If something is available at the right price, we’ll take a look at it, but that’s the question, is it the right price?â€
