To Columbus:
Artem Anisimov

To Boston:
Riley Nash

To Chicago:
Peter Cehlarik
Oliver Bjorkstrand

--

1. Helps Panarin potentially stay, bringing in Anisimov. Familiar face, solid 3C (don't have to play Jenner/Foligno on C anymore)

2. Riley Nash familiar face. Boston is quite weak on C after Bergeron and Krejci.

3. Cehlarik needs a chance, and could run with it in Chicago. Bjorkstrand has fallen out of favour in Columbus.

Marchand - Bergeron - Pastrnak
Debrusk - Krejci - Donato
Heinen - Nash - Backes
Nordstrom - JFK - Bjork

Panarin - Dubois - Atkinson
Foligno - Wennberg - Anderson
Jenner - Anisimov - Duclair
Hannikainen - Dubinsky - Sedlak

Saad - Toews - Bjorkstrand
Debrincat - Strome - Kane
Cehlarik - Kampf - Kahun
Perlini - Kruger - Hayden

I highly doubt Anisimov is going to be what makes Panarin stay.

That price tag on Nash is why he isn't still in Boston. They cant afford to pay him that much for that long with the RFA/UFA coming up from within.

If Chicago wants Bjorkstrand they'll have to pay for him, not sneak him in as a throw-in in a swap of overpaid centers.

Bjorkstrand is actually starting to turn things around of late, so the timing for this is bad - and we're not selling him for so little.

I love a good three-way, but this one is a little too messy for me.

I think we'll be perfectly fine without Riley Nash. Glad he finally turned into a 40 point center suddenly on the last year of a 900k contract for us, but good riddance.
