I thought I would share this. The team is looking for signatures to aid in their fight to reinstate the team. Along with signatures they hope all can add the positive attributes in playing Canadian University Hockey and how important it is...

In the summer of 2014, the Thompson Rivers University Athletic Department ceased operation of the Men's Ice Hockey Team. The team was entering its sixth season of play in the British Columbia Intercollegiate Hockey League.......

Thompson Rivers Mens Hockey Team : UPDATE

Athletics director Ken Olynyk, president Alan Shaver and vice-president of administration and finance Matt Milovick,never had an interest in reviving the hockey program, based on their comments, I think all of the teams energies with them have all been in vain.

TRU Mens Hockey looking for outside business people with the passion for hockey to take over the team. There are lots of folks out there that would like the opportunity to own a hockey team! Now TRU just has to fing them!
