Seeing as THN were pretty hard on high schoolers (Wheeler at 72nd), it doesn't surprise me a bit that John Carter isn't on the top 100. He's shown flashes of potential, but nothing to suggest that he's earned a spot in the top 3 rounds. The risk-reward on Carter makes him definately worth a 5th-6th round pick though, especially in a weak draft like this one.

As for Bobby Williams, seems like he'll amount to a fourth liner-reserve forward at best. Lacks the hands, skating ability and size of Carter, and should be a late rounder.

Two people who I was surprised to not see in the THN Hot 100 was Roman Tesliuk and Kyle Klubertanz. Especially Tesliuk, as I thought he'd have been an early-mid 2nd rounder. I also thought Hedman, Karsums and Ogrondinikov were ranked a bit too low.
