3 of those Game 7 losses on the road happened in Montreal - 1952, 1979 and 2008

But there has been 10 series in nhl history where the Home team won the first 6 games and the Road team won Game 7

In this Era of Bruins Hockey (I define this are as the time since Claude Julien started coaching the Bruins), they are 0-3 in Game 7's on May 14th (09, 10, 14). They also lost Game 1 against Tampa on May 14 2011. When the schedule was released, I cringed when I saw the date of Game 7.

On a positive note, The only time in this Era that they've won a game on May 14th was at PNC Arena in 2019.

It's crazy that the Bruins have not suffered that many Game 7 losses on the road.

1945 a depleted WWII team took a superior Red Wings team to the limit.

1952 gave us one of hockey's iconic photos

2008

An expected loss but it set the foundation for what would come.
