Didn't watch the game, but it looks like we competed for the first two periods. For me that's an odd sign of hope. Shrugs. This season is going to be a weird one for sure.

I agree with most of what you're saying but that fact remains that outside of Hall...Skinner has been our most dangerous forward. Olly blew as many chances as Skinner did...just saying.
Skinner needs to get one or two to get his confidence back, he's in a funk. Maybe his confidence is down because he's playing with 4th liners when he's a proven threat. He makes zone entries with the puck and dipsy doodles defenders with spin moves etc and maintains possession of the puck just to have his low IQ linemates skate directly towards defenders instead of open ice to get chances. When this happens Skinner (to your credit) seems to just give up and throw a stupid odd angle shot at the goalie where a juicy rebound is the only positive outcome.

It's all worth putting up with IF...... he scores some goals.
