Alright. This messed me up.

Usually we the fans of this team refer to the team or fan base as a "pack" and on Twitter the Coyotes account welcomes new players to the "pack".

Turns out a group of coyotes is actually called a "band". A group of dogs is called a "pack".

So we should be called a band, and not a pack.

Thank you.

And incase you were wondering, Roadrunners usually live alone or in pairs so there's no name for a group of them.

The collective noun for coyotes is the word you would use to describe a group of coyotes.

We have identified the following word(s) that you could call a group of coyotes:

band
pack

This is god damn outrageous. All these years, ALL THESE YEARS, we have been mislabled and mistreated. A pack? A pack of lowly dogs? When we should have been a band of glorious Coyo-taes. Is this even reality? If we were to ever wonder why we have gone through such hard times, we need look no further than being called a pack.

"Three Dog Night" was a 'band' of the '70s. You'll have to make the connection...

Coyotes have an important social structure, much like that of wolves, that relies on strong family bonds and shared territories. These packs have an alpha pair (Doan, OEL) and three to eight additional family members....

The territory occupied by a pack varies in size depending on population density and availability of food...most coyote territories are only about one twelfth the size of a wolf pack territory.

This explains why GRA does not work.
