Who to blame today:

1. Cassidy - Ritchie doesn't get to make those stupid plays if he was just not in the line-up. his match-up game has been abysmal not putting Bergeron out against Point, his commitment to the KrugCarlo pairing is indefensible. and his line-up decisions for Games 3 and 4 were unthinkable.

2. Ritchie - Not much to say, we all know.

3. Krug - Everything he does out there is just... wrong. Usually that's just defensively, but now it's offensively.

4. Pastrnak - I don't think I've ever seen him shoot as poorly as he did today. Missed the net or right into the crest. He was set up numerous times.

5. Krejci - No effort, poor decision making, shanked his chances.

Halak's second goal was brutal, but he was good outside of that. I think he did enough to give them a chance to win.

HM to the 4th line for just watching Krug get embarrassed.

Lack of goal scoring again. Who would have thought? Too many players seemed unprepared and not terribly motivated. I continue to believe Cassidy is a very good coach, but with a ceiling due to his flaws. Lucked out last year in the Eastern playoffs by avoiding two great teams, then saw his team lose to an inferior team in the SCF. Was able to get by a much inferior Carolina team this year, but then hit a dead-end, just like in 2018 to TB. Lack of 5 on 5 scoring then, and same this year. But, yeah, keep rolling out as many grinders and PK specialists as you can. Seems to work, right? And keep being too cool for school on the bench while your team gets reamed. Seems to work, right? And Sweeney can f*** right off with his inability to remedy the 2RW spot for yet another season. Deals are hard to make, I know the excuse.

Does a single person on this board have faith that they'll win Game 5, let alone the next 3 games in a 4-day span?

Loving the fact that Cassidy appears to finally be letting it loose in the postgame presser. If Berube and Cooper (and Brind'Amour) can try to influence the way the game is being called, he should, too.

Bruce will tell you what he thinks, but sometimes will be measured when it comes to discussing the way a series is being called.

it is what it is i guess. we were rolling before the pause. being an older team this restart killed them.
they never looked like the bruins.
tampa hasnt even been that good. vasy has but other than that they have hedman.
mcdonagh getting injured was the best thing to happen for tampa against the bruins.
