Why is NBC wanting this to be an afternoon game?

I hate NBC. Do they really get better ratings for afternoon games?

Game 1-Saturday May 17th 1pm @Bell Center
Game 2-Monday May 19th 8pm @Bell Center (for western viewers)
Game 3-Thursday May 22nd 8pm @MSG

According to CBC
Game 4-Saturday May 24th TBD @MSG
Games 5-6-7 TBD depending on what happens between CHI-LA/ANA

My guess :
Game 5*-Monday May 26th @Bell Center
Game 6*-Wednesday May 28th @MSG
Game 7*-Friday May 30th @Bell Center (The Bell not available on Saturday)
