Hazard needed to put a bit more on that pass to KdB.
Given Spurs begin the Premier League season at Newcastle, I endorse the pointless introduction of Dele Alli.
Hazards passing has been underwhelming.
Kompany running at full speed is a sight to behold
A whole season of being misused at Chelsea has not lead to making a lot of sharp plays.
De Bruyne just is the best player in the world, of his position.
That sweet pass on Hazard's goal, pure perfection.
Just no urgency to it.
This is true far too often for a player of his skill.
When he's on he's on. But he had some weak games in that tournament.
...just blow the whistle ref...
To be fair though, De Bruyne was being played a lot deeper than his best position to start the tournament. He's been sensational since being moved up.
Kane will win the golden boot unless Mbpappe scores a hat-trick in the final.
First ever bronze medals for Belgium. Congratulations.
Feel like we could have won 5-0 if we really went for it.
Ah well. 3rd place now officially best WC record ever for us.
Too bad Januzaj wasn't subbed on
I agree. Belgium could have taken that like 4-0 if they put in more effort. They completely stopped playing for a lot of the 2nd half.
England still has a long way to go to play with the top teams.
Belgium were certainly worth 3rd and really not that far from winning this thing.
No, he was awful against France.
Please, someone tell Giannini that 48 teams are a f***ing stupid idea
Why are they constantly playing Freed from Desire by Gala at the stadia in this tournament?
It's not when promising Asian and African countries all those extra slots will get you elected.
Football without music is just football, and who wants to watch that?
I don't watch or know much about soccer (football) but I did enjoy watching this world cup.
My question is, with how popular the game is in England and high expectations (it seems), though I do here the "England being England" phrase why is it that they continually disappoint.
Watching the English games, it seems to me they don't have the drive the teams they're playing do, though it has to be more than just that.
That's not the actual reason. I'm gonna wait if someone knows the correct answer.
Nobody is perfect, Cristiano Ronaldo didn't have particularly great tournament.
Also, De Bruine is mostly "on" instead of "off"
Separate names with a comma.
