Had to figure this was going to happen. Cubs have have regressed a lot and gone downhill since they won 4 years ago. A lot of questionable contracts / moves as well. Smart to leave Hoyer there to clean up the mess.

If they end up losing Bryant and everything falls apart... man that is going to make an awesome 30 for 30 in 10 years.

He'll probably end up with the Mets.

Wouldnt be shocked. Cohen will pay him whatever he wants and give him a blank cheque to build a winner.

Might as well just give him the Commissioner's post. Would be infinitely better than the buffoon occupying it right now.

Ban Johnson's ashes would be, too.

The active courting of gamblers as an integral part of the sport really, really pisses me off. Never mind the utterly unwatchable on-field product.
