In other news there's a huge tier jump after #16/17 eh? Nearly all the remaining d-men are clearly weaker than those elite ones. I guess that's why the "#1D" label usually refers to the top 15-20 d-men.

Where is Provorov? He played as a #1 guy this year and others on this list have been sheltered mid pairing guys.

Brodie in the top 20

:biglaugh:

Shouldn't even be in the top 30

People must remember his 2014-2016 seasons. He was definitely top 20 those years but he had a rough one this year. Lots of off ice issues and didn't seem to be himself (also partnered with the corpse of Dennis Widelan). Hoping for a rebound this year!

A defenseman who didn't crack 20 minutes a night last year is not a 1D, period.

So apparently Flames have 4 #1D according to HF. Alrighty then.
Assuming Harmonic finishes top 30

Hamonic won't come close to that lol he was never close to that

Winning a poll with less than 20 votes to the winner is pretty meh - doesn't say much, nor does it speak in any amount for the vastly greater number that posts on HF

Every poll like this I say that there should be a top 5 run off afterwards.

Anything less than 25% shouldn't count.

I guess its time for the every few months breaking down how great Krug's offensive, possession and GAA numbers are post at the beginning of the next thread.

Of course argument exists, Hamilton has more goals, better advanced stats, better +/-, bigger, stronger and more hits while being younger.
