Might as well start one. Tomas Vanek is the most exciting player come to Montreal via trade since Alex Kovalev. Bergervin's team seems to mimic Chicago's team. Vanek is like Marian Hossa. If we can resign Vanek for long term. I think he's the biggest fish on the market this summer. Vanek is an elite NHL superstar. He's a big powerforward who can put up elite numbers.

Resign Vanek 10 years $8.5 million per season.
Resign Subban is a must now $7.6 million 10 years.
Resign Markov 3 years $5.5 million.

Trade or ask Gorges to change number so Vanek can get his number #26, also name Vanek captain. Let Gionta walk, trade or put Bourque on waviers save $8 million. Dump those little contracts like Murray, Boullion, Weaver, Parros.

Next season's lines:
Galchenyuk-Plekanec-Vanek(C)
Pacioretty-Desharnais-Gallagher
Prust-Eller-Briere
Bournival-White-Moen
Weise

Tinordi-Subban
Markov(A)-Emelin
Gorges(A)-Beaulieu
Pateryn

Price
Budaj

Operation sign Vanek starts now:
1- Meet with Jean Beliveau
2- Sign Brière as Sales Rep
3- Win at least a playoff round, city goes wild
4- Treat wife like a princess
5- Get MT to do the exact opposite of the Subban treatment...

isnt under new CBA rules, it is a max of 8 years for players on your team.
Also we should give Vanek 7-7.5 max, and he wont get the "c"
