TV: The Strain Premiere. Is Any One Excited?

I enjoyed the first episode. This whole post-apocalyptic setting is making it interesting. I still can't wait for Zach to die a horrible death.

Haven't seen the third episode, but the first two of season 3 were ok.

Off to a better start than season 2.

Ah, Ok. Seemed to be too convenient to be a coincidence but I guess it was.

Not a bad start to the season, but this show always starts off strong in every season and then loses steam.

Carl has had some really cool moments, Zack has always been awful.

They used Quarryville, PA as a location on the show, I'll not speak bad about it anymore...haha. I was disappointed they callously killed off the black chick, I thought she would have a greater arc. I got worried when they relegated her to the background once Eph reached NY, and then when she stayed behind with Setrakian I knew she was a goner.

In the books sertrakian dies long ago compared to the show. And if I remember correctly eichorst was not even a central character at all.

Yeah, the ending was ok. Could the book readers share how the ending went in the books? At all similar?

Overall, I really liked season 4. Up there with season 1.

Was hoping Eph could make it out alive until they had that flashback. That Zach character was handled poorly in general.

I checked out of this show last season because I just couldn't take anymore Zach. The one addition the show got right, I thought, was Quinlan though. May binge watch the final season once I get through everything else I still need to catch up on.
