I don't see this line ever working out because both players need the puck on their stick. Supposedly, Marty is a much better playmaker than anyone else on the team so why not roll with Pouliot-Brassard with Marty on the right dictating the play.

Because just like on the Knicks, Stoudemire and Anthony are not working out for the same reasons Nash and St.Louis arent. They don't play defense, they need the puck in their hands, and they are soft players who don't contribute anywhere else if they aren't scoring. Let's get a new line please.

They're on a different line tomorrow night.

Basketball analogies almost never work with hockey. Sports are too different.

If you really wanna look at it, Melo is a generational ball hog. Nash can hog it but nowhere near te degree of Melo. Stoudemire was awesome his first season in NY, complete opposite (so far) of MSL. Then the injury bug got him and he hasn't been the same. MSL has missed something like 11 games in the last 7 years. And he's one of the premier playmakers in the league.

Aside from all four of them being star players, there aren't many similarities.

Lock it up.
