Given how hard the Caps partied all summer, this should come as no surprise.

DSP has had conditioning issues with his other stops as well. I was a big fan of his when he was first breaking in with Anaheim and thought he turned a corner when he initially joined the Devils. Perpetual tease, but at least for the Caps he had a great playoff run.

It's more respectable than sucker punching someone to get out of playing preseason games.

The boys like to party. Way she goes when you’re the champ.

That's nothing, when Ovi showed up they immediately grabbed in and started to pump his stomach.

See that fat dude in the OP's tweet sliding across the ice scoring the one of the most important goals in Capitals history, welp he is a D.C. legend. So I don't care if he gets as big as a house or scores another goal for the team.

As least the Caps are giving him a chance and didn't "Dotchin" him.

    It’s not a cup hangover. It’s a regular hangover.

Not a Cup hangover, that's just not being in shape to start the season

Yes, a Stanley Cup hangover is used to describe not giving your 100% the next season after a Cup win.

DSP has some problems of his own. If he doesn't get his act together and get in shape he won't be in the league much longer.

Based on the article, it seems like Smith-Pelly wouldn't be able to tell.

Its human nature to feel like you've "made it " so you don't do the same things you did that got you there

It's why its difficult to stay on top consistently in any field. It's why the divorce rate is so high too
