Stats whiz Nate Silver breaks down goalie playoff performances statistically, and comes up with a list of the best in the "modern era." (This analysis depends on data only available since 1988, so it's limited in scope.) Spoiler Alert: Timmy and Tuukka do pretty well.

FiveThirtyEight - And Now, The Roy Awards For The Best NHL Playoff Goaltending Performances
So the Roy for best goaltending in a single playoff series goes to… Tim Thomas of the Boston Bruins, for his performance in the 2011 Stanley Cup Final against the Vancouver Canucks. The Canucks had been the NHL’s highest-scoring team in the regular season and launched more than 35 shots per game at Thomas. And yet he allowed only eight goals in the seven-game series, including a shutout in the final.

As a goaltender, you won't find many in the entire history of the NHL that could beat Rask vs. Pittsburgh. Statistically Thomas v. Vancouver was better, but Pittsburgh's offense was hyped up as being one of the best in years. 2 goals, sweep. All the games were close, too. Rask was absolutely amazing in that series. Timmy vs Vancouver wasn't bad either. ;)
