Sweden the only team without injuries. Tärnström have had some troubles though and the status of Peter Forsberg is still some mysterious. All other teams have lost keyplayers (Blake, Pronger, Roenick, Schneider, Kapanen, Bondra, Palffy, Handzus, Lang, Kubina, Fedorov, Khabibulin), maybe this could give Sweden an advantage.

In was referring to Jan Benda, German alternate captain in the last World Championships.

Benda was not injured against Canada. Benda is not playing because his Russian team is not letting him leave, just like Sushinsky, Salficky, and all the others.

I now Benda wasn`t injured, i could have sworn i answered someone asking why Bondra was gone from the tournament. Anyway sorry.

Finland also needed to chance Jere Karalahti to Janne Niinimaa... my comments for the reason could be "a bit aggresive" so I leave those out.

Besides (I never thought I'd say this) Niinimaa was good against Czechs.
