That's what she said.Well, as long as we stay tight. We've had problems with that lately.

YesWhen was the last time we had home ice for a playoff series? 1988?
Another question I found myself asking last night was:
- With 10 games left, will we even score another 20 regular season goals?
I'm not sure that happens!
It is?It’s hard to see them staying this offensively inept for another 10 plus games. We will see but perhaps they timed this perfectly to avoid having it happen in the last couple of weeks or the playoffs. Remember too that style of play in the playoffs tends to cater more to the style this team is playing. You rarely see 6-5 or 5-4 games multiple times in a series.
I do to, but more than the banner, I want Zeeker healthy for the playoffs. Even though he was still playing well, he was looking tired and that's not hard to figure given the way he plays. If that means a few extra days of not having him out there and that costs us a couple of points, I'm ok with that. We need Zeeker. He's our MVP (skater) and there isn't a close second.I want the banner.
Thought that this was funny given what some of us have endured.
Lou is a genius. He let CBJ trade for the Duchene Curse as security that we would at worst get the WC2.10 points is the magic number.
Saving goals in a bank?No concerns. I'm telling you, they've been resting up for the playoffs.
Trotz' Caps teams won the President's Trophy two straight years (3 and 2 years ago) and got knocked out in the second round both times. Last year they came in 7th overall and won the Cup. Our team needs to give 100% to win games. Just speculating they might subconsciously not have been pushing flat out for a bit. Just throwing out the thought.Saving goals in a bank?
Magic # down to 6!!!!
And we can unclench!Regulation loss by the jackets tonight, and the isles can clinch on tuesday!
Islanders are 1 pt ahead of the power house Laffs and already have 15 more pts than last year's team. So much for Pajama boy trying to leave this team by the side of the road left for dead. There's nothing more fun on a Sunday morning than reading the Leafs after-game thread after a loss . . .
Refs didn't call anything
Babcock can't coach
That OT goal was on: a) Matthews making a bad line change
That OT goal was on: b) Nylander making a bad line change
That OT goal was on: c) anyone on the ice making a bad line change
Dubas and Babcock can't get along
Why is 4th line player A playing and not the healthy scratch 4th liner?
It's even better with bagels, cream cheese and nova

The irony is Toronto could potentially finish with *less* point this year after their "big free agent signing" than they did last year. They need 12 points in their final 7 games (6-1 record) to surpass the 105 points they had last year.
I guess the bigger test will be how the addition helps in the playoffs, but focusing right now on just their performance in the regular season, they aren't any better than they were last year.
