Don't be upset, it's not about your post, more so the fact that the Patriots clearly cheated and the Raiders have yet to ask for an investigation into this. Brown, more importantly, the brains behind this being his Agent, orchestrated this to get Brown out of the Raiders contract when the Pats suddenly showed interest the last couple of days to get him if he would get released.

That's ****ed up. The tough part will be to prove this, I really hope they can really catch the Patroits in this crap and Brown's camp and he's suspended indefinitely from the NFL for this and the Patriots are fined HEAVILY...

But the NFL is the biggest joke when it comes to stuff like this, nothing will happen, Patriots will get away with cheating again and the ****ty people that are their fans, will act like everyone is salty or jealous - when we aren't.

What "Gate" will this be labeled? CryoGate? To Go with Brown theme. Or just... "CreateYourOwnGate" at this point....since it never Ends... they are that person that changes game mode to Easy (for their side) each time when someone steps out the room lol. Always changing rules that they decide works best for them that current season "then" the NFL has to adjust after the season.

This happening a day before the season starts. And after Pats not liking the results they saw from offense in pre season. They wanted anothr top talent. And now They just did something thats never happened before

If this isn't the year they can beat NE in the playoffs then it will never happen. There will be nearly a year's worth of bulletin board material from AB.

The Pats are so in our fanbase's head that it isn't even funny. Literally hours ago Brown was a cancer that destroyes anything he touches and now he is the key to a Super Bowl victory.

Focusing only on Pats is the prob. Thats why the Jags loss happened. If they havent learned from all of the past mistakes then they never will is more like it.

But now we actually have a top D again that we had basically every decade other than this past one. Huge reason why we didnt win it all again. The D is back.

The hoodie knows it. That's actually the one area the Steelers destroy Pats in. Drafting. Steelers are one of..if not the best for years now while getting late picks. Pats resort to always trading theirs due to all of the busts. As smart as Bill is...cant figure out why hes so bad at drafting.

I would hold off on saying the Steelers defense is back. They certainly got better, but if they don't start getting more turnovers and the DBs keep giving huge cushions it still won't be good enough.

The culture of the NFL is what it is because a contract isn't a contract. If a team signs a guy, they should be stuck with the guy. If a player signs a 5 year contract at $X...that is his contract for that amount of time. It takes away all of this nonsense. Oakland should be stuck paying Antonio Brown. Antonio Brown should be stuck playing in Oakland.

The thing is though, I'm not sure that takes advantage of Brady's strength of getting the ball out so quickly. That might not happen if he needs to wait a few extra seconds for these guys to get down field. Do we even know who their TE's are anymore?
You will by the end of the game tomorrow night...

I do agree with you to a point. I also agree that the Patriots adding Brown is much different than a bottom dweller or an up-and-comer adding Brown. Brown will have to fit into New England's culture...not the other way around. He has no choice and if he doesn't want to conform he will be let go. That is what happens when you have stability and a coach that dictates how that shit runs.

Under that theory he should be held to his Steelers contract and they stuck with him. The games played by Mr. Big Chest and Bell need to be addressed and new rules put in place to disincentive scum players and agents, and pond scum teams like the Cheatriots, from making a joke of the rules.

The season didnt start yet so of course its a prediction from observing the play throughout camp/preseason and the players/positions that were of concern all being addressed.

Are you worried about Cam Heyward and rest of Dline? Watt and Haden? Those were areas of strength.

Remains to be seen still but from alll of the reports of these guys throughout camp and how they looked in preseason....Edmunds will be much better. Having that full season down now where he didnt make a ton of plays but never really saw him making mistakes either. Very smart player who now has a better grasp and can take more chances for those turnovers. Cam Sutton....ton of hype around him this year. Always known for his playmaking but wasnt good enough to be out on the field most of the time. All reports talking about how much hes improved. Kam Kelly is actually a much better playmaker than Sean Davis but Davis has been reliable for us so he will take over once healthy but i have high hopes for Kelly . another playmaker type.

Hilton can go from slot to safety...wherever hes making more plays is where he should be

Steven Nelson the #2 over Coty Sensabaugh...success.

Bud Dupree looks like hes finally got it figured out. All talent no brains. But after 5 years...you learn eventually right? We should see that help our whole front 7. Also in contract year

And mainly Bush. And Barron. Adding those 2 alone would have done wonders for the whole Defense let alone getting improvements at just about every other position. The speed from them 2 allowing others to focus on their own role instead of having to worry about helping over the middle too?

I say its back...we will find out soon enough.

Though AB won’t be playing tomorrow night, I’d bet that he is on the sidelines, smiling like a butchers dog and glad handing any Patriot he can on the sidelines and hugging Brady after they beat the Steelers.

More mind games from BB and crew, to try to get the Steelers off their game by getting caught up in the AB story and any feelings of “revenge”.

Just saw Skipper was released? Wtf happened there?

They’re trying to sneak him onto practice squad...I think the plan was to have Holton on the 53 to begin with but they knew Skipper wouldn’t pass waivers last week. So they hold onto him until the day before game day thinking no one will pick him up because they don’t want to lose someone preparing to play tomorrow...sneaky...I don’t know if it’ll work though..Holton is now on the 53

I'm most worried about scheme and coaching. If the DB's are going to continue to be coached to just "tackle the catch" and not take advantage of the pressure the guys up front are getting, then it could be death by 1,000 cuts (again).

Think about it. AB likes to claim that Ben didn’t make him, HE made Ben. The general consensus was that AB’s production would drop in Oakland with Carr throwing him the ball. This would make AB look bad and the Steelers look good. No bueno for AB. He wants to go to a team with a QB that is accurate and can continue to pad his stats. Enter BB and Tommy boy...

Only issue is, how will AB react when they are beating Miami 28-3 heading into halftime and he only has 2 catches for 15 yards, while Edelman has 6 catches and James White has 10 out of the backfield...

It's not under that theory - the Steelers traded him. Like any other sport, if they trade him his contract goes with him.

That being said, the Steelers traded him because he had the ability to get more money even being under contract and he had a fit until he got it. Taking that off the table would keep these situations that the Steelers have had with Brown and Bell from happening.

But if they lose to Miami and AB gets 7 catches for 100+ yards, then business is boomin'.

Bill even planned out the timeline that would make Brown "not eligible" to play tomm since it wasnt the plan anyway.

Apparently Had to wait til 4pm today before signing with another team but at same time if not on a team's roster by 4pm of previous day of game being played you arent eligible.

Yeah ...made it pretty obvious there. Nobody would have expected him to play anwyay right? I guess since the game is against the Steelers...bellichick made sure to cutoff any drama before it could happen. If there was no explanation...thered be talk of hes avoiding Steelers..and whatever else that would have prob happened. Preventing the media from creating something out of nothing. Basically how a lot of downward spiraling starts in first place.

Like i said before ....Belichick thinks of everything.
