Raonic beat Chardy to advance to the QF of the Miami Open 1000 and Shapovalov will soon play against Coric with the chance to do the same! Go Shapo!

Denis lost the first set on tie break but managed to win the second set so we're going to a third set! Go Shapo!

Too bad Dennis didn't quite have his A game for the most part, this was quite winnable with a bit more consistency. His serve game kinda comes and goes, he'll learn to better control that with time.

I saw a clip of Brandon Gallagher taking BP with the Jays. He's a huge baseball fan it turns out. Jeff Petry also took BP and he hails from a baseball family and played it extensively as a kid.

How odd it is to watch the game on TVA Spanre and hearing Doucet and Brulotte calling the game. It feels like it did so many years ago.

Ha, forgot to mention Charles Hudon, who also took BP. He was being teased by D'Lo, who said he wouldn't be able to hit a long ball and turns out he was right. D'Lo didn't show at the game.

While Doucet and Brulotte have not skipped a beat, it's still eerie to hear their voices go into a crescendo in their anticipation of a Jays play -- it's the antithesis of everything that used to exist up to 2014 -- the Jays were hated in Montreal and here we are, our longtime local broadcasters acting like Jays fans. I guess that's just the logical outcome of the Jays acting like the local club in the contrived scenario a lot of us have to endure if and until the real local team comes back.

It was such a winnable match...Oh well, he's young, he'll learn. Amazing talent.

Holy crap, what a moment at the Big O. With the game tied in the 9th, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. sporting no. 27 like his dad, hits a walk off HR, sending the crowd in a frenzy. What a moment.

Funny thing is, Doucet and Brulotte were speculating how sweet it would be if Guerrero would hit one out to end the game. A few seconds later, it happened, his teammates mobbed him at the plate, the crowd was going nuts and Brulotte like the old days, was screaming his lungs out. All of that and it's only an exhibition game.

Bottom of 9th inning, 2 outs game tied 0-0 no runners on bases. Vlad Jr. comes to plate and...elle est partie!

Here's Vlad Jr. during hid dad's heyday:

He doesn't have his dad's lanky frame, I heard someone on TVA's broadcast say he looks more like Sandoval than he does like his dad, lol.

I hate the friggin' Jays and yet, what a moment that was. It reminded me of how beautiful baseball can be.

First thing Jr. wanted when he got to Montreal was ice cream and Poutine. May explain a little his larger frame. Hopefully he wont turn into another Sandoval.

Wasn't a compelling game and not a great advertisement for next year if they do it again (if they want to boost attendance), so it was great that it had an emotional finish. It gives people something to talk about, for a game that desperately needed something to talk about.

Here's Guerrero Jr.'s killer moment at the Big O tonight:

Twas even more dramatic when Brulotte called it, the sequence here is truncated but you get the flavor of it.

Patrick Reed is a disaster physically. What a fat mess. Good on him for winning, but damn; you'd think he'd a bit thinner having to walk all day.
