I dunno, it just doesn't appeal to me.

I really don't. I will occasionally throw on the radio when I'm driving as background noise, but other than that I have no desire to listen to it.

Donald Sterling is banned for life in the NBA...
And fined for 2.5 million dollars.
The NBA will also try to get Sterling to sell.
Good job NBA.

The thing is...
I am sure Sterling will try to get it challenged in court...
And it will be years before the final outcome is reached.

However...
The league acted quickly...
And levied unprecedented punishment.
They did the right thing here.

like mark cuban said, this will start a slippery slope with these type of things. i don't agree with him getting a life time ban at all

Yeah...
But here is the thing.
This harsh punishment only happened...
Because a lot of sponsors threatened...
Or are about to...
Pull out...
And the NBA needed to do something.
I am sure the NBA knows that Sterling will fight it...
And it will take years before the outcome will be truly known.
Sterling can also just transfer the ownership to his family members.
Regardless...
This is much harsher than anyone expected...
Which is a good thing...
And it will quiet the angry mob.

I hope Sterling sells...
And he might not have a choice.
A lot of his players would probably send in trade requests...
And nobody would want to play for him.
The paying public would also stay away as long as he is still in charge...
And all Clippers games would be toxic...
Which would affect the TV ratings for the Clipper's opponents.
The owners too...
Can also alienate him...
And make things difficult...
Which is my hope if Sterling is stubborn and stay on.
When everything is factored in...
It is best for him to sell.
He bought the team for 12.5 million dollars...
And it is worth over 500 million.
He still makes a lot of profit...
Even with inflation factored in.
