Kansas is great for him. He takes them bowling every season and he's a legend in Lawrence. In Tennessee, their delusional fans would want him fired unless he was regularly beating their rivals (Georgia, Florida, Alabama... and Vanderbilt ) and winning the East again. They don't realize they're basically the SEC version of Nebraska.

Yeah if I'm Les Miles, Kansas is perfect. It's a Basketball school first off so the pressure isn't as high. You're in a more feasible conference (Tennessee has to play Alabama every year on top of sharing a division with Florida and Georgia). There's only one 'rival' to deal with (Kansas State and Bill Snyder might be stepping down soon) and they're beatable (unlike Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and now Vanderbilt ). You have access to the high-school recruits from Texas (not that they're clamoring to be a Jayhawk but most of Tennessees top high-school recruits end up going to Alabama, Georgia, Florida anyways).

Tennessee football has fallen so far that I'd argue Ole Miss/Mississippi State/Arkansas are better SEC jobs.

That's all on Georgia for choking again. That 4th down fake is literally one of the worst calls in a big game I've ever seen. Just absolutely moronic and desperate by Kirby. Then they let a guy in Jalen Hurts who could barely complete a forward pass before this look like a Heisman contender after basically brutalizing the actual Heisman favorite for the whole game. Classic Georgia.

It was a mostly forgettable season, with lots of embarrassment and adversity, but I'm glad my Hokies pulled out another bowl trip. Glad to officially have the longest active bowl streak with FSU losing theirs without technicalities now.

You really think you're going to run for 11 yards against Alabama on a fake punt? It was probably a pass that kills to a run if the defense has a safe man in coverage - which Alabama did. So take your timeout and scrap the whole plan. You can still punt and put them on a long field with their backup QB.

Definitely not a thing on par with beating West Virginia in Morgantown, or a conference championship over Texas in Dallas. Hell I'd even take Iowa State over the frauds that are Kentucky.
