It's so awful that I can't even put it into words. Are others as frustrated as me?
This has gotten worse and worse as they try to tighten the pricing and control the aftermarket.
What don’t you like other than they don’t put the barcodes on the tickets so you have to do a manual transfer for Stubhub?
Is it a desperate attempt to prevent foreign fans from invading?
The game needs more hate, but not this type. Torts knows what I am talking about. #ThugsNotHugs
Can’t share them with others from Apple wallet.
Have repeatedly had share or sell greyed out for no reason
Can no longer batch-share tickets
Can’t save email addresses for ticket partners
And that’s just big issues off the top of my head.
I'm not a season ticket holder (though a I have co-worker who has had some for a decade) but nominally keep up on changes like this. But this does seem something that Ted should be confronted with directly in person because the whole thing smells.
Ted is an owner who seems to listen to fans concerns, write to Monumental or to him with your issues. It can't hurt.
Vivid seats is a good website
Also (for me at least)
Selling price data for comparable tickets is no longer provided when you list yours
Can't transfer concession credits when sharing tix with others
Yep. Also, the descending and market pricing options are gone.
Selling tickets through a computer is okay but selling them through phone can be a chore. The forward / back bar stays at the bottom and I can't see what button I'm pressing
Can't imagine a scenario where I'd become a STH for any professional sports team, unless it was as a business expense. Being a Redskins STH actually made me like the team and the NFL less. They try to pry every last nickel and dime out of you.
I could definitely see liking the skins less after being a STH. lol
I've had Caps season tickets since 2008 and can honestly say they treat season ticket holders very well. Other than minor annoyances like what is mentioned in this thread I have very few complaints - until February when the Stanley Cup victory gets factored into the annual price increase.
