Thomas Frazee
from Kamloops. He has great size in 6'4/205, plays centre, and reminds me of a bigger lite version of Paul Stastny. I could see him being a very solid 3rd/4th liner.

08-09 Moose Jaw [GP-66 | G-11 | A-33 | P-41]
09-10 Moose Jaw [GP-70 | G-20 | A-35 | P-55]
10-11 Regina/Kamloops [GP-57 | G-24 | A-35 | P-59]

I don't understand why this guy wasn't drafted. He has size, grit, and has a decent scoring touch. Really weird that not one team wouldn't take a chance on him.

Frazee spent some time with Dallas over the summer. IIRC, he attended the rookie camp and the rookie tournament for them.

I've seen Frazee around 10 times, and have only really been impressed with him once or twice.

When I saw him with Regina earlier this year he was benefitting ALOT from playing with Weal and Ashton.

For Sweden, Sebastian Erixon (D) is the most sought-after player, and three undrafted goalies in Niklas Svedberg, Mark Owuya and Viktor Fasth might garner some interest.

And Joakim Lindstrom have been generating interest, but hardly a prospect.

Quick question for everyone. On what date can an NHL team officially sign a player from college?

For Ottawa Jesse Winchester signed March 24, 2008 and Bobby Butler March 29, 2010. When is the first day they can be signed this year?

They can be signed any time, but they would forefeit their NCAA eligibility. So they wait until their season over, which could be anywhere between mid-March to the end of the tournament which ends April 9th.

Who would you want if you could only sign one, Carter Camper or Andy Miele?

Depends on what conference they are in. The ECAC and CCHA wrap up the regular season this weekend. So playoffs get underway next weekend. The teams that don't get a 1st round bye will play a best of 3 series. So in the ECAC and CCHA, teams seasons will start ending after next weekend, those teams that know they have zero shot at the Frozen Four, players could start signing any time after that if they are sure they want to turn pro. (cause once they sign that's it their NCAA career is over, unless of course they are Seniors)

The WCHA and Hockey East will see their regular season end next weekend, the following week the playoffs start for them.

Paul Thompson of the University of New Hampshire has apparently been on the radar of many NHL teams and should be one of the first NCAA free agents to be signed to a pro contract this season.

Do you have a scouting report on him? I've heard his name come up a bit on these boards, but know nothing about him besides stats.
