LBJ to the Sixers makes so much sense for the next few years that it almost has to happen. LeBron, Simmons, Embiid, Covington and possibly Reddick if he can be resigned as a Starting 5, with guys like Fultz and Saric off the bench? That team would do serious damage in the East.

If they really wanted to, Philly can go out and land both LeBron and Kawhi Leonard without too much trouble. They have able cap space and have young pieces that may entice San Antonio to swing a deal.

Sign LeBron to a 1+1 max and trade two of Saric/Fultz/Covington + #10 pick + future picks for Leonard.

It truly is a shame just how much Cleveland has wasted LeBron the last couple years, and that's with them making 4 straight Finals. 52 points by him and they lose because their players don't even know the score at the end of the game.

He needs to go to Houston or Philly this summer. Get him on the court with a quality team that wouldn't finish DFL if he wasn't there.

Maybe, but he’s the one that plays GM in his spare time. He “needed” JR Smith to stay. He “needed” Tristan Thompson to be re-signed. That’s a lot of money wasted.

I'm now reading that Colangelo is probably going to be fired over this (duh), not because he was the one who was running the accounts, but because it was his wife. It'll be interesting to see what happens there, because the Sixers could use this to their advantage by leveraging that opening to bring LeBron in via FA.

Dwight Howard for Mozgov

I see the Hornets are still floundering around in mediocrity much like the Hurricanes. I don't follow the NBA at all but it seems like everything they do doesn't work out, and they're looking at trading Walker now
They're in a no win position right now. Walker is good enough to get them enough wins in the bad East to get them into the playoff hunt, and out of serious lottery standing, but the rest of the team is bad enough that this is their ceiling.

As long as the draft lottery stays the way it is, they should legitimately blow it up, suck badly for multiple seasons, and see if they can't build a core to win around like OKC did with Durant, Westbrook, and Harden and PHI did with Embiid, Simmons, Saric, and Fultz.

Howard had a good year here but he's not leading anyone to anything significant anymore.

The Hornets are going to be in a no win situation for a while. Rich Cho and his bad contracts and questionable to poor draft/trade deadline decisions will undoubtedly keep the Hornets on the outside looking in. On top of that Jordan is a lousy owner who is still living off his glory days as a player. As long as idiots out there keep buying his overpriced brand merchandise nothing will change. But hey at least they made the playoffs, 3 times more recently than our hockey team has. Damn that's embarrassing.

We have no idea what Dundon will be as owner but at least he shows that he cares.
