I was raised in a cult and food storage was a thing.

Beyond the regular items:

Canned goods
Carbs
Trail mix
Vienna sausages

Omaha Steaks shipped to me. Freezer good.

Just because at some point, in theory, police may be patrolling keeping people in their homes doesn't mean you should live less deliciously.

Wait wait wait. You’re not glossing over that little tidbit there. Not with the hockey season gone for the time being.
I think it’s life in a cult story time, if you don’t mind that is.

Just found out this exists:

Buying some on my way home! (only in specialist supermarkets... but have one nearby)

So I might be very obese or have liver failure in a month or so.

That rum is amazing and ice cream is my favourite dessert. If you have not tried rumbullion and like rum... do. It is scary good. Like so, so tasty can drink 500ml straight if so wanted.

Not that exciting. Basically devout Mormonism in Arizona, minus the multiple wives. Maybe a step down from that.

But items like: Baptism for the dead, was put in a special religious school where history was reading was the works of W. Cleon Skousen (young earther stuff, and founding fathers stuff), I think some of the admin had loose ties to the Southern Utah polygamist movement. Gym was ballroom dancing. I had huge huge telescope glasses and was thin as a rail so no females would dance with me, I ended up dancing with a folding chair as my partner for a semester (but became a great dancer, and when my awkward phase ended, did well at dances/proms in High School once I got put in public school when we couldn't afford the religious school). A lot of the highly religious private school kind of blips. Teachers having strange relationships with the students, etc. Laying on of hands, some of the elders swore the American government was their enemy during prayer (due to early Mormon persecution which led to them establishing Salt Lake City), etc. I didn't really have exposure to people outside that circle until High School. Basically had church 6 days a week (church before school everyday, then driven to school), then 3 hours of church on Sunday, plus some evening activities, usually twice a weekday as well.

Hell of a 10k post.

Anyone whipping up anything good with the time off?

Hit Wegmans on Sunday and just loaded up with ground beef, chicken and pork chops, not related that the virus. Working from home the next two weeks, so I'll have time to whip some stuff up. Anyone got any good recipes?
