Hope part of the deal of 1st/Grundy/Durzi for Muzzin included looking at a good price to send Marleau’s contract over.

Praise the lord.

Marleau, Zaitsev , Brown could potentially be 12.85m off the cap.

Chances are there is probably some term coming back on this one though, even if it’s half of what Marleau makes, we’re coming out in the green.

I'd love to see it, but, the Kings finished 2nd last this past season... I can't see why Marleau would waive his NMC to rot there for a year. I guess if we attach a nice asset to him it may be worthwhile to them to buy him out after he gets there. Then he could sign cheap back with the Sharks or something if he's dead set on playing his last year.

Holy **** Dubas is really taking it upon himself to clean up Lou's mess this offseason. Right on.

He’s going to do it, then the 40 year old dad fans will say we needed Marleau and Zaitsev all along, Dubas doesn’t value leadership, and that Nylander should have been traded the first time we lose 2 games next season

Interesting. They were other team after him.

I'm not sure of the upside for Marleau if he continues to play. Waive his NMC for a team that might make the playoffs?

We'll see.
