One day when I was a teen my parents told me they wanted to move to a 2nd house they owned up north. They told me theyd be putting up the house for sale and that the next year id go to a new school.

I shit you not I told them like the ice cold asshole that I am that id throw myself in the river behind the house if they ever did that.

I still cringe to this day.
