la promesse de salaire pour les diplomes c'est de la bull**** 99% du temps, bienvenue dans le vrai monde enjoy your stay
someone in my final project team has received a ~60k/yr offer, though it is 40hr/week (while mine is 35) and unidisciplinary (just software stuff even if he's in biomed like me - while mine is extremely multidisciplinary and offers lots of freedom of thoughts)

dunno

If I did the calculations right,

47k per year after taxes is about 35k
so,
35 000
- 52 * 200 (Grocery)
- 1000 * 12 (Appartment)
= 12 600 left

I have ~20K to reimburse for the student loans (no idea how the payments typically work for those though I know I will need to find an agreement with my bank) and I'm probably forgetting a bunch of stuff (like the salary they take from my pay for the insurances and all that stuff - it's a government based job btw, or hydro, or furnitures, etc.)

again, dunno

budgeting is good, but at 47k even with a loan don't worry too much about it. You're an hermit like me so you won't have any trouble paying it off. People who complain they are broke (with any job around 45k) aren't like us

also 1000 per month is way too much for an apartment even if you live alone

brah we're the same on that, and I buy video games out the ass and spend like crazy on stupid shit. Don't worry (too much) about it

what hurts those normal people is the 2-3k they spend on vacation 3 times a year

I eat like im six baby elephants and about 200g of protein on that, just make better choices.

Also 1000 for an appartment? f***off. Youre alone and you can love in something smaller.

I don't want something ugly. I need a studio/bachelor/2½ that has a modern/futuristic look with a big kitchen
