LWMD ORGANIZERS:
- Neo: No fun police commish/worst in the history of all make believe fantasy sports based entirely on the sub-forum of this hockey website, but damn I got this draft finished.
- ATypicalCanadian: Running the draft board, RIP. Fun fact: he's also like 7'4. Heard it from a Bumble date once.
- Neo/ATC/????: Makes sure trades are legit and no collusion/numbers are correct.
RULES
The cap will be at 79.5M with a floor of 58.8M, the same as the 2018-19 salary cap. We will be using CapFriendly - NHL Salary Caps for all selected salaries.31 team draft. Each team drafts 12 forwards, 6 defensemen and 2 goalies, along with 2 bench slots for whatever group of players that you choose (You cannot have more than 13 forwards, 7 defensemen or 3 goalies).
Rookies will have their full AVV salary included in their cap hit.
Time limits in between picks will be 5 hours.
Rounds 1-5: 7 hours.
Rounds 6-22: 5 hours.
The best way to counter having your pick skipped will be to send in a ranked Draft List to a member of the draft that you frequent talking to/you know is an active member. When your time is up, the BPA on your list will be chosen for you instead of having your pick skipped.
There is also a dead zone time from 1AM-9AM PST. During that dead zone time, a GM will not have time removed from his window to pick. The clock continues counting after 9AM PST.
In case a GM misses a pick, the team will be skipped. After 24 hours, if the skipped pick has not been chosen/no draft list for that team was given, the commissioner will pick for that selection in relation to team needs/best player available.
TRADES
GM's will be allowed to make a TOTAL of 3 TRADES for the entirety of the mock draft. Draft pick trades are unlimited, but can only have a maximum of 3 draft picks being traded at once.
Please include all pick numbers to ATC to make editing the draft board as easy as possible for him (EX: PHI 3rd #70)
You also will NOT be able to trade while you are on the clock. All trades must be finished and finalized BEFORE your pick becomes active.
We're going to be using Discord/HFBoards/Harry Potter Owls to communicate. Feel free to communicate on any of the many HFCanucks Discords available.
