What would happen if this happened today with the Cap and with the 10 game suspension for leaving the bench? If 14 players leave the bench and are suspended for 10 games how can you ice a team if you are close to the Cap and need to call up that many minor leaguers?

Let's hope this happens just so we can find out. But not to my team!

I was under the impression that its just the first guy and the coach who gets automatic 10 games and fines.

That would make sense. I mean, if one team piles over the boards is the other team supposed to sit there and let their five guys get pummelled?

As Sens Rule said, lets hope this situation actually occurs to provide all the answers.
