Clearly people voting Benning aren’t doing so because of achievement since he took over. So it must be because they see some great future.

OK so Pettersson, Hughes, Pod and Hoglander are who they are hanging hopes on. Because there is nothing else in the system right now as these first 15 games have shown. So 4 players over 7 years is what hats are being hung on? 4 players with the benefit of consistently high draft picks. Essentially every team in the league can boast 4 good to great players over the last 7 years brought into the club as prospects and now playing. Throw in a couple decent trades.

That’s not a legacy. That’s below the bare minimum you’d hope for over 7 years with all those missed playoffs.
