wtf...I get suspended from the 3rd round for making a pick...Is there no time limit on this draft?? I gave the guy 12hrs to pick and I had to go work a 12hr shift...That's garbage...This is a mock draft..there's no need to take some ridiculous power trip...If he wanted Richards then I would've gladly selected somebody else...I figured I was saving everyone else time by my selection after 12hrs rather than having everybody wait another 12 while I was at work..

I don't think Toronto's suspension was very fair, either. He obviously had to go to work, and made a pick that was like 50 minutes short of the time limit. *Porn wouldn't have made the pick anyway for nearly another 12 hours. I don't think he should get suspended for that. If *Porn would've made the pick before the time limit was up, though, and wanted Richards, then he'd obviously get him, and Trawna would re-pick.

Now then, the Riders are proud to take hard hitting defenseman Robyn Regehr! Robyn is a Saskatchewan raised kid, and will make for a mean pairing with Scotty Niedermayer.

I don't really want to get in the middle of this because I appreciate the fact that you were trying to keep the draft moving. But to be fair, it does say in the rules that the time limit is 24 hrs... so Porn* still had another 12hrs and might've felt obligated not to take Richards.

Anyway, the punishment does seem a little severe, but you probably should've PM'ed a few players that you'd want to the admin.

I dont know where you guys got the 12 hour time limit from. here's what I wrote regaridng the subject verbatim...

You have 24 Hrs to make your selection, check back daily to ensure this draft moves along smoothly. if you miss your deadline, you dont lose the pick, but you wont get to make it until your next time at the podium which is fair I think.

I am on no power trip, but thought that it was pretty unfair that he jumped the gun on his selection. thats like me saying, Im going on holidays, heres the next 6 pics since I wont have internet access, Ill take Joe Sakic, Adam Foote, Glen Murray, Jason Allison, GS Jiguere and Mario Lemieux. maybe Im exxagerrating, but I thought it was a fair punishment. what does everyone else think, we'll go with majority rules, just let me know, if i was right by doing so or wrong, and i will change the decision if Im out to lunch. but I personally think that its fair.
