What do you guys make of these predictions for where fantasy football (sports in general) may go down the road? Some of it seems pretty interesting but I'm not convinced certain parts will work - like the weighted point system for example

Simulated hockey leagues have been around for a while, I have done them, no money, just fun and pride.

I'm in two cross-sport fantasy leagues. One is all four major leagues, and the other one is three (no NHL ). It's difficult to calculate the values of players in different sports when making trades, but I guess that's part of the fun.

I think if demand increases over time there will be research and funds allocated to creating viable algorithms to enhance this idea
