I did backflips when the trade was announced. It was almost too good to be true.

Well I would have done a backflip if I could have done a backflip but my backflip days are over.

Brass was my favorite Ranger during his tenure here. Even though the trade was phenomenal for us, it still hurt to see him go. It's sad he couldn't recapture his successes here with the Sens.

Still miss him. I was begrudgingly hoping we would resign him for the deal he signed with the Isles, even knowing he lost a step.

And @Machinehead still wears his (unwashed) socks with the same pride too.

Brass is one of those likable players who can play for your rival, yet you still love. Can’t make that statement for a lot of hockey players. He represented our jersey well. #respect
