Really sucks that Pitt gets to end their season out of division with a creampuff. Team doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs just as much as Boston.

At least the Bruins have to earn it if they make it.

Every team gets to play Buffalo. Maybe the Bruins should have won a few more games before tonight. Then this wouldn't even be an issue.

Well that's that.

Reluctantly trade Chara and Seidenberg. The cap space they would clear up is more valuable than their on-ice contributions this season.

So, I know's its a one percent chance, but where can I get the specific details about the number of balls etc for the draft Lottery.

14 balls, 4 are drawn, order does not matter.

That makes for 1001 combinations (14!/10! 4!).

One combination is thrown out, leaving 1000.

1% means that 10 combinations are assigned to that team.

But don't forget that if the Bruins lose in regulation, LA will finish ahead of them (ROW) and Boston will be assigned 20 combinations.

The Bruins have met them 4 times versus 3 by the Pens...

OK so we just doubled out chances...
