Charlottetown's Drew Elliot posted. Stats are totally nondescript but he plays a checking role on a contending team. One of the better penalty killers in the league.

Charlottetown's Ben Boyd posted. Another low-level prospect but one who fits into the bruiser/checker category. Unlikely to be drafted this year but the Islanders are deep so an expanded role in 2021-22 should clear the picture.

Hey, Steve, what do you think, what impact will the WJC U18 have on the draft?

It always does, but too many elite kids are either late birthdays or not there. Like I wouldn't draft Behrens over Lambos or McTavish over Raty but I bet some NHL draft boards will have a U18 bias.

Personally, I lean more towards league play and playoffs.
