Preds were never gonna pay Weber AND Suter the giant cash. While hoping that Ellis and Josi would be good enough to need big money too. Same thing happened to CHI; they couldn't pay Byfuglien what he was worth while still keeping Keith and Seabrook.
Especially if you have anybody on O that commands top dollar.

So it was Weber or Suter, and they made the right choice. Nothing to rehash about that.

Hopefully Jones and Josi will give us that problem again in a year or two.
