This is a depressing question, but I also thought it would be an interesting poll/debate.

Would the current Dallas/Texas Stars lose a game to the Non-Roster/IR players that are likely all COVID related (so no Seguin, Bishop, etc.)? Robertson and Hanley probably belong in the non-roster/IR group considering what we know. It seems like Tufte is not COVID related, but I needed him to get 3 lines even after using Pysyk as a RW.

The Dallas-Texas Stars

Benn – Hintz – Gurianov
Cogliano – Pavelski – Radulov
L'Esperance-Dellandrea-Comeau

Rosburg – Klingberg
Sekera – Cecconi
Shea– Harley

Team Non-Roster Probably COVID

Kiviranta-Faksa-Robertson
Tufte-Dickinson-Caamano
Dowling-Gardner-Pysyk

Oleksiak-Heiskanen
Lindell-Honka
Hanley-Fedun

I can't pick against Heiskanen. The defense is significantly better. Even with basically 5 Top 6 forwards on the current team, I think they lose to Team COVID.

I didn't think about this ... but I'd love to watch PP1 for the Dallas-Texas Stars against Team COVID's PK1. I think that would be a pretty decent battle.

There could be a goalie draft. Team COVID gets first pick because COVID.

Khudobin and Bow to Team COVID and Oettinger and Point to the Dallas-Texas Stars.

I left them out on purpose. You can either just assume they are loaned a goalie.

No only COVID positives and they have to play in hazmat suits .

Also yes the COVID team is probably stronger because it has 6 NHL caliber defenseman in it.

I was thinking more along the lines of overall quality as a player rather than current condition.

If you make it Team Covid/IR vs Dallas/Texas then Bishop and Seguin can be added. Then it's a great game.

You know I guess I did sort of screw that up. If you're not factoring current condition, why not include them?

I only count 5, that Heiskanen guy sucks :sarcasm:
but seriously Honka isn't really NHL caliber

Yeah I only put him at forward over Honka because he actually played there some last year in Florida. Depending on how quickly guys recover, there's little chance he'd play forward again. Nill was pretty clear they see him as a defender.

Optically ... I just wanted 3 lines.

Dude is a good forward: hat trick against the Leafs in a big game.

I am Florida fan but you upgraded your depth scoring a lot with the hybrid ;)
