I heard Doug MacLean saying on Sportsnet that Nashville doesn't have to deal with a 14 year contract they matched to keep Shea Weber. IF this is true, perhaps the Isles don't have to buy out DP and let him go in 2 seasons ( 8 seasons if resigned)

Current state? Meh.
Future state? Looking good. Have some solid prospects in the pipeline with some decent young talent already here. Also, they're moving to Brooklyn in just under 3 years
