And now, I complain about my broadband being only 10Mbps because I live in a rural area.

And now, I complain about my broadband being only 10Mbps because I live in a rural area.

I remember being thrilled when I bought my first modem and it was 1200bps. I had been borrowing a friend's 300bps modem to log onto BBSes, and the jump from 3-4 characters per second to WHOLE WORDS was incredible.

Now, like you, I get irritated if I see the slightest artifact in my streaming quality while watching American Ninja Warrior.
