Other travelers who violate the regular 14-day quarantine face a fine as max punishment. On what legal ground players would they get jailed?

It does say ''potential'' jail time. My guess is that it would require the player out in public with no mask on, not respecting social distancing rules, etc.

I suspect the Government wanted to send the message that they want to be extra tough on the ''millionaire'' ball players.
