The classic downhills

While I enjoy a variety of sports, January is always the sporting highlight of the year. Two legendary downhills (Wengen and Kitzbühel) on consecutive Saturdays are a must-see for me. Dozens of crazy sob's throw themselves down a mountain at highway speeds (up to 100 mph when the weather is ideal).

I view winning these races as the greatest sporting achievment in the world. Having casually skied down both courses, I can't understand how anyone could do it at full speed. Respect!
