WSH is (+130) at the sportsbook straight up. Even though I will be rabidly cheering for Columbus, this may be the easiest money you will find all year in the NHL.

My opinion: the pressures of performing at home in important games are real, especially if you don't have a track record of success. The anxiety was palpable when the Caps played at home in home playoff games and it got worse and worse as the years went on and they continued to come up short... until they didn't. The only way for Columbus to change the way they perform at home in those important games is to break through and perform at home in important games.

Also - Stephenson is the best PK'er on the team and has the best Corsi - even though advanced stats, actually any stats, are for idiots.
